前記：

    西牛賀洲中的女兒國，是一個(gè)傳言中被詛咒的國家，全國上下皆為女子，甚至連那貓兒狗兒，也盡是母畜，延續血脈皆靠一條名喚子母河中的水。

    國法規定，年登二十歲以上，方可去吃子母河中水。

    子母河真可謂是女兒國的母親河。

    數千年來(lái)，女兒國就是靠得此河，才存活至今，沒(méi)有被歷史長(cháng)河所湮滅。

    很久很久以后，女兒國連年干旱，三年內滴雨未下，國內人數驟減過(guò)半，好在蒼天有眼，終是普降甘霖。正在國民們歡呼慶賀可以保住性命之時(shí)，她們發(fā)現，存在幾千年的子母河竟有些干涸的跡象。

    大旱之前，子母河綿延千里，可大旱之后，僅剩方圓七八百里。

    且后來(lái)不管怎么下雨，子母河每年都會(huì )干涸數十里。

    女兒國內，人人悚懼。

    彼時(shí)在任的女兒國國王，名喚伊尋，她在祖宗牌位前立下誓言，定要找到方法，救下全國子民，且要讓她們女兒國，子嗣綿長(cháng)，永無(wú)后顧之憂(yōu)。

    Or　to　have　the　boat　fully　loaded　with　starlight

    And　sing　aloud　in　the　splendour　of　starlight.

    Quietness　is　my　farewell　music；

    Even　summer　insects　help　silence　for　me

    Silent　is　Cambridge　tonight！
